She spent a lot of her childhood vacationing in Western North Carolina and later worked at local sleep away camps during her college years. Knowing she wanted to live in Asheville, she moved to the area upon graduating college to do marketing for a local company. Jill received her degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Entrepreneurship from Salem College. During her college years she was captain of the Business Ethics Debate Team, Captain of the IHSA and IDA equestrian teams, started the lacrosse club, played basketball for a couple of years D3, Class President, Class Treasurer, and head of QUAD senior year for Salem College, Wake Forest University, Carolina University and UNC School of Arts.

Jill is a wife and mother of four amazing children. They live on a small horse farm in Hendersonville with their menagerie of animals. Three dogs: Arwen, an Irish Wolfhound; Merida, an Irish Wolfhound and Caicos, an adopted Potcake from the Turks and Caicos. Her horses, an Akhal-Teke named Kegas and Sorcha, a draft cross; her kids welsh pony, Blackberry; a mini named Shadow and a mini mule named Cooper. Can’t forget the most spoiled barn cat, Prince! As an equestrian for over 30 years, Jill spends her spare time riding horses and enjoys being involved in the equestrian community. She enjoys hiking in the local mountains, being involved in the community and traveling with her family.

I chuckled because I emailed and texted Jill around the clock, especially it seemed, in the wee hours of the night/morning and Jill would always answer very quickly - so open 24 hours is pretty accurate! When my husband and I were considering a move to Asheville, I had posted in quite a few facebook pages, especially those concerning horse life in the area. Jill saw one of my posts and reached out to me. She was wonderful from our initial email exchanges to finally meeting in person. -Thanks to Jill Reece (and Cate Bradley) our first home buying experience was nothing short of flawless.✨ My husband and I were looking to relocate back to NC from out-of-state while the greater Asheville market was hot, hot, hot. Without Jill we wouldn't be living in the home of our DREAMS today. When we first reached out to her, Jill set us up with MLS access and would immediately jump on any virtual showing requests we had. She supported us with care and expert advice though a competitive multiple offer situation, helping us submit a backup offer when the offer we were most comfortable with making wasn't initially selected. When we later came across a "Coming Soon" listing for what looked like our dream home, Jill made sure that we were one of the first showings on the books and that our offer was submitted within hours of leaving the virtual showing - the same day the house hit the market. As we waited for news back on our offer she kept us extremely up-to-date on showing activity and other offers on the home as she became aware of them. When our offer chosen and accepted, Jill ensured we were referred to all of the other local support professionals we'd need (lender, lawyer, home inspector, etc.). All of them were phenomenal, communicative, and clear top pros in their fields. We flew to town and arrived to see our soon-to-be home in person for the very first time toward the end of inspection day, which Jill had coordinated across multiple vendors to happen on a single day for the convenience of both us and the seller. Our final walkthrough and closing were as smooth as they could possibly be and we left the law offices in disbelief at how easy the process had been from start to finish. Keep in mind that through this process Jill was nearing the end of her pregnancy with her fourth child, then gave birth, and then caring for her newborn baby, all while helping us buy our first home - talk about a SUPERWOMAN! And, of course, she made sure Cate was there for us and up to speed on our buying journey just in case she went into labor and couldn't serve us personally.
